Working Principle

Ceramic Plate Radiant Heaters operate on the same principle as the sun. The ideal air/gas mixture is created in the chamber at the back of the device and burned on the ceramic surface in front of small perforations. As a result of combustion, the ceramic plate heats up to approximately 900°C, emitting radiant energy. This radiation is directed downward in a specific range by reflectors. The rays, unaffected by air movement, convert into heat energy upon striking objects such as people, machines, or the floor. This process ensures that objects are heated first, rather than the air.

Advantages

Thanks to the unique focusing feature, the radiation from the devices is 40-45 m. Even at mounting heights, the patented design of the reflectors is directed to the tribune and the radiation is focused to maximize the perceived warmth.

Wind and turbulence under stadium roofs can prevent ceramic plate heaters from working properly and even cause them to burn out. Standard ceramic plate heaters are completely extinguished at 3-4 m/s wind speed. Goldsun Focus heaters operate smoothly even in 12 m/s wind speeds in stadiums thanks to their unique specially designed wind protection.

Goldsun Focus series heaters are equipped with a dual electronic ignition system and flame sensors to maintain combustion in windy weather up to 12 m/s.
