Çukurova Isı Proves Its Radiant Heating Efficiency Claim with New R&D Investment

Çukurova Isı continues its R&D investments at full speed in line with its sustainability goals. The company recently launched a radiometer laboratory, marking another first in Turkey, and aims to develop efficient, high-value-added products.

Çukurova Isı, which measured the performance of the GOLDSUN CC ceramic plate radiant heater and a rival product frequently seen in the market after GOLDSUN in its radiometer laboratory, shared the test results with the public.

With a 65 percent market share in radiant heating systems, Çukurova Isı continues to take steps to reinforce its mission of being a pioneer and leading company in the sector.

Another first in Turkey with its radiometer laboratory

Çukurova Isı, a solution partner for numerous businesses, including industrial facilities, cafes, and restaurants, with its advanced radiant heaters, continues its R&D investments at full speed in line with its sustainability goals. With its recent launch of a radiometer laboratory, the company aims to develop efficient, high-value-added products and is proud to have achieved another first in Turkey.

In its radiometer laboratory, the company measured the performance of a GOLDSUN CC ceramic plate radiant heater and a rival product, a frequent presence on the market after GOLDSUN, and shared the test results with the public. Within the scope of this study, the performance of Çukurova Isı’s 11 kW Goldsun CC ceramic plate radiant heater and the rival company’s 12 kW ceramic plate radiant heater product were measured using the Elvhis Radiometer, and their radiant efficiencies and energy consumption per kW were calculated. In addition, the kW/m² measurements obtained in the study were converted into temperature rise dT graphs, and a visual of the perceived temperature increase of the devices was also prepared. Accordingly,

While the GOLDSUN CC ceramic plate radiant heater created a temperature increase (dT) of 8.24 °C at a distance of 2 m, the competitor product was able to achieve a maximum temperature increase (dT) of 5.39 °C in the effective heating zone.

While the radiant efficiency of GOLDSUN CC was 60.19 percent, the competitor’s product was 44.67 percent; it was seen that GOLDSUN CC consumed 1.66 kW of energy to produce 1 kW of radiant heat, while the competitor’s product consumed 2.23 kW.

Goldsun CC is 35 percent more efficient

Measurements made with the Elvhis Radiometer showed that the GOLDSUN CC ceramic plate radiant heater is 35 percent more efficient than the competitor’s product and provides savings of 181 Euros/year, or approximately 6,721 TL/year.
