Kerem ÜNLÜ, Sales Manager of Çukurova Isı A.Ş. and Board Member of the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters’ Association (İSİB), was elected as the Vice President of the “European Gas-Fired Radiant Heater Manufacturers’ Association” (ELVHIS), which brings together the gas-fired radiant heater industry in Europe.

Kerem ÜNLÜ, Sales Manager of Çukurova Isı A.Ş., was elected as the Vice President of the European Gas-Fired Radiant Heater Manufacturers’ Association (ELVHIS).
ELVHIS, which was established in 1994 to bring together companies operating in the field of gas-fired radiant heaters in Europe under one roof, to follow technological innovations in the world and to contribute to the sector’s reaching world standards, determined its new management in the General Assembly held online.
“It is a great honor for me to be the first Turk to be appointed to this position”
Kerem ÜNLÜ, who was appointed as ELVHIS Vice President at the General Assembly, said the following: “It is a great honor for me to be elected as the vice president of ELVHIS, which brings our sector together internationally, plays an active role in shaping the norms in the EU and other continents regarding our sector, and carries out studies that will contribute to our industry in terms of energy efficiency and product quality, and to be the first Turk to be appointed to this position.

Together with the new term board members and our president Prof. Dr.-Ing. Friedhelm Schlösser, we will continue to carry out successful studies that will support the development of the European Gas-Fired Radiant Heater market globally,” he concluded his words.
ELVHIS is the only non-governmental organization that has been accepted by European authorities such as the European Commission and the European Parliament, as well as standardization organizations such as CEN (European Committee for Standardization) operating in the field of commercial gas-fired heating systems.

Kerem ÜNLÜ
Completing his undergraduate education in Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 2000, Kerem ÜNLÜ received his master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Hamburg Technical University (TUHH) in Germany in 2003. He started his professional career in 2004 and is working as a Sales Manager at Çukurova Isı A.Ş. ÜNLÜ is also a Board Member of the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters’ Association (İSİB) and a delegate of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly.
